Artificial intelligence (AI) is widely employed in metallurgy for its ability to solve complex phenomena, which are associated with the learning process of previously obtained experimental data. Although numerous physical modeling techniques have been implemented for the prediction of mechanical strength using equations, several empirical efforts are necessitated to evaluate specific constants for different models. Additive manufacturing (AM) has been actively studied to fabricate 3D shapes with a variety of materials. In particular, AM with metals has been studied for its application in the medical, automobile, and aerospace industries. During the fabrication, process parameter are a good feature to understand mechanical properties because it incorporates the effects of material composition and microstructures. The complex combination of material composition and process parameters determines the microstructure of metallic materials.
